Colorado Springs Adventure

We had a great time in Colorado Springs last week. Johnny was a groomsman in his good friend Mike Mersman's wedding (unfortunately we forgot to take pictures for that). We also got to spend time with family and friends.

On Labor Day, Johnny climbed Pike's Peak, the mountain that overlooks Colorado Springs, with his friends Pat and Dan. It was exhausting and exhilarating.

Devil's playground (on the way up to the top)

Unfortunately, Emily and Mom Harvey were sick on Labor Day, but made the most out of it by eating soup and watching chick flicks

After feeling better, we went for a bike ride on Shook's Run trail.

We went for a tour of Glen Eyrie Castle and were able to learn a little of the history of C. Springs.

View overlooking Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods

Dinner and games with Grandma and Grandpa Erickson

We were able to spend lots of fun times with Natalie, Cornel and Cassandra

Cutting our 2 year old top layer of wedding cake. Though it kept its beauty...it tasted better the first time!

I think you should send out the 9th pic as this year's Christmas photo. Tell everyone it's your new home...just a starter, but a person's home is their castle.

After that tour Johnny told me he wanted to live in a castle...I've always wanted to be a princess :)
